Greeting from Stanislav Pozdnyakov to the participants of WHF 2022

"Dear friends!

Recently, the entire system of world sports has been tested for its integrity and adherence to the fundamental principles laid down by the founders of the modern Olympic movement.

Unfortunately, as we can see, these principles are increasingly being compromised by certain politicized forces in pursuit of their own short-term gains. Against this backdrop, the International Hockey Forum, which is once again taking place in Moscow, remains a shining example of mutual understanding, respect, and good neighborly relations among representatives of different countries united by the ideals of sports and cooperation.

As is the good tradition, the Forum participants will have the opportunity to sum up the past year, which will be remembered, among other things, for the hockey tournament at the XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing. They will share new experiences and discuss further prospects for the development of hockey.

I am confident that the upcoming Forum will make a significant contribution to the formation of new joint programs, projects, and directions of activity, as well as hold great importance for further international cooperation.

On behalf of the Russian Olympic Committee, I wish all participants and guests of the event successful and fruitful work! I also take this opportunity to congratulate you on the upcoming holidays and wish you robust health, well-being, and prosperity!"
