Great things start from small beginnings

Aspiring to enter the world of professional hockey and achieve good results, young athletes understand the importance of paying attention to proper physical preparation, being confident on skates, and listening carefully to the coach's instructions.

With each passing year, hockey becomes increasingly popular among the younger generation. Parents begin to introduce their children to this sport from an early age, typically around 4-5 years old, as this is the moment when the doors to the world of competitive hockey open up.

A crucial factor in shaping young hockey players is a well-structured training program that encompasses various ice skating techniques, goalie training, and the general physical conditioning of young learners. In addition to on-ice training and physical fitness, young hockey enthusiasts need to learn about tactical schemes and their application on the ice.

There exists the "National Hockey Player Development Program 'Red Machine,'" which aids young athletes in their challenging journey. The goal of this program is to elevate players' skill levels so that from a young age, they can master all the fundamental skills and be ready to continue playing hockey at a professional level.

Today, there are numerous children's and youth hockey teams actively participating in various championships, allowing young players to gain experience more quickly.

Within the framework of the IV International Hockey Forum "World Hockey Forum," there will be a panel discussion on "The Development of Youth Hockey and the Importance of Implementing New Technologies in the Player Development Process." The participants will include global hockey experts such as Steven Norris, Pavel Sheruimov, Petr Brziza, Kevin McLoughlin, and Andrew Mark Williams. These experts will address and discuss the most important aspects of youth hockey development, as well as the most promising methodologies for its growth.
